Of Papakolea/Kapolei passed away on February 23, 2020 at his home in Kapolei with wife, Doreen and family at his side. As a proud and conscientious employee, Calvin worked in the telecommunications field for 50 years starting with Hawaiian Telephone Co. and ending his career with Verizon Federal in 2018. He was also an avid surfer spending many years surfing at Waikiki Beach. Calvin is survived by his wife Doreen of 45 years, sons, John Lee, Kaaialii (Yukari) Matthews, daughters, Corene (Anthony) Woods, Nadine (Jeffrey) Vierra. 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Reynette Ahuna, Krystolyn Leslie, Darnel (Zane) Zablan. Celebration of Life, Saturday, June 12, 2021. St. Jude Catholic Church, 92-455 Makakilo Dr. Kapolei, HI 96707. Public Visitation: 9:15am-10:30am Remembrance: 10:30am. Funeral Service: 11:00 am.
