Passed away peacefully in Honolulu surrounded by family & dearest friends. She grew up in Kalihi, attended Roosevelt HS & then graduated from Castle HS. She spent most of her "running around" days in Kaneohe & later retired in Keaau from Garlow Petroleum. She lived her life to the fullest. Genevieve enjoyed cooking, baking and gatherings with her Ohana and friends. She was truly the Matriarch of our ohana together as ONE always and forever. Predeceased by her husband Charles Arthur Turner & son, Douglas A. Farias; Survived by her children, Gilbert Skip Farias, Jr. (Valerie), Candace L. Palenapa (Kimo), Gary R. Phillips (Celia), Kale Turner, Dayle Turner (Jacque), Mona Lisa Fernandez (Nes), Paula Turner, Alika Turner, Kimberly Farias; only brother, Sol Batoon (Doreen) her Hanai Daughter Donna Caceres Blended as one, she has 24 Amazing Grandchildren & 24 Great-grandchildren. Private services will be held.
