Virginia Miyuki Maki Cuskaden of Honolulu passed away peacefully on April 23, 2021. Virginia was born to Toriji Maki and Kiwa Murakami in Kilauea, Kauai on January 2, 1922. In 1946 she married Everett Leroy Cuskaden (deceased) and had two sons. Virginia was a sales associate for many years at McInerny Department Store. After retirement she enjoyed many hobbies and created beautiful haku leis, headbands, sewed quilts, and enjoyed growing vegetables, herbs and flowers in her little garden. Virginia was well known for baking delicious mango and banana breads, which she generously shared with family and friends.
Virginia is survived by son Everett and family; son Robert, grand- children Shane, Shawna and Trisha and great-grandchildren Sara and Ozzy.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to caregiver, Gloria Agtang and her family for the kind and loving care of Virginia, during the final years of her life. Private burial services will be held for family members at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. Arrangements Provided By:
