89, of Pearl City, HI, passed away on March 29, 2021. He was one of 17 children born to Peter J.S. Hanohano and Stella I.K. Piianaia.Senior Pastor of Palisades Community Chapel for 26 years, retired Asst. Dean of Honolulu Community College, and U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hisako; 3 children: Yvonne Konia (Brian), Simon (Karen) & Solomon; 2 grandchildren: Justin Konia & Kristyn Konia (Folasa); 1 great-grandchild: Mya Konia, and large extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 10am and service at 11am. Seating may be limited in accordance with COVID restrictions, but the service will be live-streamed. Email: kahued@hawaii.rr.com for livestream link. No flowers please.
