She retired in 1993 after 30 years of shaping young lives as a teacher at Kainalu Elementary School. She especially enjoyed cooking, playing golf, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her biggest joys were her granddaughters. She was deeply loved and will be missed. Her grace, generosity and kindness always made others feel loved. She would welcome a stranger as a friend, forgave easily and lived her life by the amazing grace of God.
