WAYNE SEIJI INOSHITA
Wayne Seiji Inoshita passed away peacefully in Pali Momi Medical Center's ICU room at 1 pm on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was 71 years old and was born on April 26, 1949. His family moved to Pearl City from a Waipahu plantation house when he was around 3 years old. He attended a pre-school on 3rd Street in Pearl City, Pearl City Kai Elementary School, Waipahu High School (where he played football and graduated in 1967), and Kansas State Teachers College. Wayne worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as an inside shop machinist in Shop 31 and then as a nuclear/non-nuclear ship systems inspector in Codes 139 and 133 of the Quality Assurance Department where he retired from in 2004 at 55 years old. Wayne loved to golf but he also was a sports enthusiast who followed men & women sports like baseball, vollyball, football, soccer and golf at all levels (youth, high school, college and pro). He is survived by his brother Stanley. Private services were held on Saturday, 06/12/2021 at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary.
