72Born on June 2, 1949 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Wendell and Lillian Clark, she moved with her family to Oahu from Spirit Lake, Iowa at the age of 15. She moved to California after graduating from Kailua High School.
Wendy became an expert at putting down roots in California, Hawaii, Italy, Washington, Texas, Florida and back to California.
Active at her church in Pomona, she helped organize their Operation Christmas Child project, participated in Bible Study and assisted in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
She is survived by her son, Ryan (Jennifer) Marceau and her daughter, April Schauer; four grandchildren; siblings, Christine Farris (W. Kent) and Stanley Clark and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Takacs; son, Damon Marceau and sister, Francine Baxter.
