Joseph F. Serrao, age 65, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on June 1st. Joseph was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and was a graduate of Damien High School class of '74. He lived his last 20 years in Las Vegas and worked as a job developer until his retirement in 2019Joseph was also involved in many aspects of the entertainment industry: headlining his own shows, acting in plays in Honolulu and Las Vegas, recording a record album in Hawaii, and emceeing numerous events.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, John and Althea Serrao. He is survived by brother John of Las Vegas, sisters Raelene (Aaron) Correia and Cissy Serrao of Honolulu, and nieces Aalene and Thea Correia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2nd from 4 - 6 pm at the Oahu Cemetery Chapel in Nuuanu. Services at 6 pm. Burial 9 am on Saturday, July 3rd at the family plot at Oahu Cemetery.
