Jack loved life. He always lit up a room with his warm smile and cheerful demeanor. He grew up in the small town of Port Byron, NY. He graduated from Syracuse University and received his M.A. from the University of Southern California. He was a proud American who served our country as a Naval Officer for twenty-seven years. Jack's duty stations took him and his family all over the world to include England, Bahrain, Hawaii, and Sri Lanka.
After retirement from the Navy, the aloha spirit called Jack back to his house in Hawaii where he practiced real estate. He was a member of the Kaneohe Yacht Club where he met his second wife, Carita. Jack held board positions in the Military Officers' Association of America (MOAA), the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), the Kalama Beach Club, and the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). However, one of his favorite "organizations" was the ROMEO Club (Retired Old Men Eating Out)!
Jack and Carita shared much joy and many adventures together to include hosting lively parties and traveling. Jack had a magnetic personality that endeared him to his many friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed.
