92, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2021. Born in Honolulu to Minnie Nahakuelua and Edmund Todd on June 30, 1928, Irene was known for always having a flower in her hair and sharing her aloha spirit whenever she left the house. She began working as a hostess at Queen's Surf and strove to better herself for her and her children. She continued to learn and grow culminating in management positions in restaurants, stores, hotels and human resources for GEMs. Prior to her retirement, she moved to Kailua-Kona and subsequently helped take care of her great-grandchildren where was affectionately known as "Gramz".Irene is preceded in death by sisters Lei, Evelyn and Bertha and brothers George, John and Robert. Irene is survived by her five children; Donald (Lynda) Paishon Jr., Kalani (Susan) Paishon, Dayton (Jocelyn) Paishon, Donnette Paishon and Dobson (Marie) Paishon; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great- great-grandchildren. There will be a scattering of her ashes; date and details to be determined.
