She was born on March 25, 1944, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Kaiser Joy and Kanami (Kay) Yagami Joy. She graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan. She met her husband, Alfred Leon Gerren when he was stationed with the Marine Corps in Okinawa. They were married on April 1, 1963, in Jacksonville, NC. They had three children together and 51 years of adventures around the world. They lived in Yuma, AZ, El Paso, TX, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Nashua, NH, Colorado Springs, CO, and Aiea, HI. She lived in Las Vegas after Al's passing on December 20, 2014. While the family was in Saudi Arabia, Paddy worked for Raytheon for 15 years. She worked for the Nashua, NH Fire Department and retired from there after 15 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband. She is survived by daughter Darlene Gerren Watson, of Colorado Springs, CO, son-in-law Bill Watson, grandchildren Amanda Watson, Emily Watson, and Rebecca Watson, daughter Diana Gerren O'Quinn of Rowlett, TX, son-in-law Danny O'Quinn and grandson Declan O'Quinn, son Jim Gerren of Las Vegas, and daughter-in law Ann Gerren. Paddy was so grateful for all of the love that she received from family and friends... and if you knew her, you were a friend. Ohana is everything. The legacy she leaves her family is to be kind always and to take care of anyone or anything in need. Her family will be holding a small, private ash scattering service at sea on July 7 for Patricia and Alfred.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
