78, of Aiea, passed away on December 23, 2020. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired U.S. Government pipefitter. Preceded in death by wife, Verna (Tokunaga) Kato, he is survived by his sons, Ryan (Kristen), Derek (Gale) and Michael Kato; sisters, Charlene (Wayne) Nakagawa and Susan (Jon) Muramoto, and three grand- children. Private service held.
