On July 8, Ancid Raphael Carreiro passed peacefully at his home at the age of 84. Born in Kealakekua to parents Raphael and Violet, and raised in Kaimuki with brothers Joey and Jack, Ancid settled in Halawa. He proudly served his country in the Korean War for the United States Marines and retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard with 41 years of service from Shop 26 as a Nuclear Welder. He was extremely hard working, loving and adored by everyone that crossed paths with him. He will be missed dearly and forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
He is survived by his sweetheart of 62 years, Patricia; children; RoseAnn (Claude) Calabrese, Raphael (Beverly), Veronica, Jonathan (Susan); eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Services: 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. on July 22, 2021 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Burial: 10:00 a.m. on July 23rd. Family requests Aloha attire.
