Age 93, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on June 23, 2021 at Hale Ho Aloha. He was born in Pelehau, Hawaii. Ronald was a Telecommunications Engineer for 34 years with Board of Water Supply. In the late 1960's, he founded the Farrington High School Booster Club and was a radio officer for the Oahu Civil Defense. After retirement he had a passion for fishing, bought a boat and became active with the Keehi Fishing Boat Club. He is survived by his wife Lavinia, 4 children, Ronette (Peter) Byers, Ronald Jr. (Chris), Ryan Kiaaina (Lotchie) and Rochelle Ouchi. He had 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be at his beloved Kawaihao Church on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Visitation at 9:00am. Mask required with social distancing per Covid restrictions. Private Burial at a later date.
