94, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 15, 2021. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii and was a devout Buddhist of the Shingon sect. She was preceded in death by her husband, James. She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Blaine) Tsugawa and Blanche (Lorrin) Ching; four grandchildren; five great-grand- children; brother, Michio "Taka" Iyo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
