FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Erlinda “Linda” Bernadette Cachola
Erlinda 71, of Kapolei, passed away in Aiea on June 27, 2021. Linda was born August 25, 1949 to the late Quintin Martinez and Lorraine Dela Rosa of Honokaa, HI. Survived by husband of 49 years Ronald Cachola; two sons, Darren Kalani (Kiana) and Daryl Kaleo (Kara); five grand-daughters, Riahna Marie, Keira, Mila, Sadie, and Saige; great-granddaughter Naiya Marie; and brother Wesley Martinez.

Linda graduated from Honokaa High School in 1967 and attended Cannon Business College. She began her career at Pearl Harbor Naval Base Police and Pass & ID Department as a Clerk/Typist, then ended as a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and traveling. Some of her travels included Japan, Thailand, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and the Caribbean cruise islands. Her favorite travel destination several times a year was Las Vegas. You could find Linda on the slot machines, but especially on the three card poker tables.

Linda loved and cherished her family. She was the backbone and glue that kept us all together. She will forever be remembered in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Nu'uanu Memorial Park and Mortuary with visitation from 10:00-11:30am. Services to begin at 11:30am.
