81, of Honolulu, passed away on May 11, 2021, at Nuuanu Hale. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii. She retired from the Hawaii State Library in 2016 after working 30 years as a library assistant. She is survived by son, Mark; daughters, Marcy (Ricky) Kagami and Shawn (Aaron) Ching; sister-in-law, Betty Nakaji; granddaughter, Jenna Ching; step-grandchildren, step-great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Marcelino; parents, Kazuo and Sogie Nakaji; sisters, Emiko Nakamura and Ellen Yamauchi; brother, Harry Nakaji; brothers-in-law, Haruo Nakamura and Terry Yamauchi; and nephew, Eric Yamauchi.
