Age 49, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones.Stacey was born in Silver Springs, Maryland and spent 19 years of her early years in Hawaii. She graduated from Kaiser High School in 1989, and Honolulu Community College with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice in 1996. She then moved to Dallas, Texas and graduated from the University of Northern Texas, Denton, with a BS in Criminal Justice in 1999.
Stacey worked as a respected and caring Probation Officer for the Dallas County Adult Probation Department for the last 21 years. Stacey loved her job. Her ability to help people was second nature to her. She was gifted with the special quality of acceptance in all her contacts as well as with family and friends.
Stacey is survived by her true love Gary Lucas; her mother Eileen Kelleher-Ornelles and step-father Dermot Ornelles; sister Susan Kelleher Holtz and brother-in-law Doug Holz, extended family, friends and her beloved pets. She was preceeded in death by her father, John B. Kelleher.
Stacey loved all living creatures especially dogs and cats. Any monetary gifts will be donated to her two favorite animal rescue organizations in her name.
Memorial services were held in Dallas,Texas on July 3, 2021.
