FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

VIVIAN K. YAMAMOTO
VIVIAN K. YAMAMOTOOur dear mom and grandma, Vivian Kikue Yamamoto, departed from this world on June 6, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was 90 years young.

She is the daughter of Akira and Tokie Hamamura, raised in Kalihi and she attended Kalihi Kai, Kalakaua, and Farrington schools (class of 1948). She was predeceased by our dad, her husband, Frank Satoshi Yamamoto, her brother Robert Hajime Hamamura, and her parents.

Vivian attended business school after high school and became a stenographer. She worked at Finance Factors, UH Manoa in a residential hall, and at Fort Ruger. She enjoyed spending time with her Farrington classmates and friends from work. She loved sewing, gardening, playing mah jong, traveling around the globe, and most of all, her extended family.

We will miss you, mom and grandma, and you will
always be in our hearts.

Vivian is survived by her children, Kathleen Yamamoto (Alan), Merle Pak (Gary), Todd Yamamoto (Brenda), and Noela Yamamoto-Valdez (Jay). She also has six grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, Jenna, Tyler, Kristi, and Ryan, and two great-grandchildren: Jahyoo and Asa.
