92, of Kaneohe, passed away on July 1, 2021 at home. Herbert was born Sept. 11, 1928 in Waialua, Oahu to John & Henrietta Nascimento. He attended Waialua High School. He served time in the army and was stationed in Japan. He married Betty Jean Robello on June 21, 1952 in Honolulu. He worked as a Nuclear Welding Supervisor at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard until retiring in 1984. He also taught welding classes at Honolulu Community College. He is preceded in death by his daughter Diane (Nascimento) Villeda. Herbert is survived by his wife of 69 yrs, Betty Jean. Daughters, Herlinda (Nascimento) Mansfield, Cynthia (Nascimento) Ben and son Kenneth Nascimento, 14 grandchildren, 44 great- grandchildren, 11 great-great- grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 5 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 10 at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
