Age 77, passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2021, after a four year battle with lewey body dementia. He was born in Honolulu on October 3, 1943 and graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1961. He worked for the Outrigger Hotels in building maintenance and in his later years, went to work for the Dept. of Education, lawn maintenance section. He is survived by his wife, Gail, sons, Ryan (Kelly), Garrett (Deb), grandchildren, Tyson, Tayler (Ronson), Shayde, Skye, and great-grandson, Rhyzen. He is also survived by his sister, Gail (Greg) Takushi, uncles, Fred Nakamura, Norman (Karen) Nakamura, Wallace (Nora) Nakamura, and aunts, Florence Arasato, Doris Kakazu, and Iris (Stanley) Miyamura.
