Edith Yasuko Afuso LittlefieldEdith Yasuko Afuso Littlefield, age 89, passed away peacefully from this life to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on July 27. Edith was born on April 28, 1932. The youngest daughter from a large family, she was born and raised in Kahaluu, Hawaii, attending Waiahole Elementary and Benjamin Parker High School graduating in 1950. After marrying she moved to Oklahoma where she had her three children. Returning to Hawaii, a devoted and hardworking mother, she raised her children in Kaneohe, Hawaii and worked in various fields before finally retiring with the Laborers Union. Edith lived her life as a kind hearted, fun person who loved to garden in her spare time and the company of her beloved miniature Poodle, Precious. Edith is survived by her three children: sons George Harley Jr., and Gary W.; daughter Donna K. (Ronquilio); grandchildren Michelle and Kelsey; and one great- granddaughter, Shelby; sister Kay Nakamine; brother Fred Afuso and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Valley of The Temples Hall, Kahaluu, from 12 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
