Mark Kenji Sakata, 58, died May 14, 2021, in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Hilo, he served eight years in the U.S. Air Force and was an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Aloha Airlines in Honolulu then Southwest Airlines at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Private services held. Survived by sisters, Charlene (Henry) Shinohara, Rachel (Lerbert) Ancheta, Laureen (David) Masukawa, Adrienne (Patrick) Sugimoto; brothers, Brian (Cynthia) Sakata, Ian (Lori) Sakata; numerous nieces and nephews.
