William was born to parents Reuben Chun (deceased) and Sarah Waialae-Chun.
William is survived by his 5 children; Alysiera, Michael, William, Daniel & Noelani - 3 grandchildren; Kaleo, Nalani & Lila - Mother; Sarah - Siblings; Christina Bracamonte, Elizabeth Zuniga, Samuel Chun and many others.
William was a jack of all trades and he spent most of his time spreading his aloha by helping others. Although he spent the majority of his life in San Diego, California, his last few years were spent living in Hawaii. William took extraordinary pride in being Native Hawaiian and represented the ALOHA spirit in all that he did. He loved the islands and always referred to them as his Aina (homeland). William had a strong faith in God and often shared his testimony along with the many miracles he witnessed, including his own. William loved his children and Ohana very much and felt the most at peace in their presence. Although there is an empty space in our hearts, we do not have to look far to be reminded of his love and kind gestures. His contagious smile and generous heart will be missed but be forever embedded in the lives he touched.
