FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Felisa Tamalia Castaneda

91, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 25, 2021. She was born in Abulug, Cagayan, Philippines on January 14, 1930 and moved to Hawaii in 1960. She trained to be a barber and a seamstress, but retired from the University of HI as a custodian after many years of service. Felisa is preceded in death by her husband Regino Castaneda, sister Esperanza Tamalia, son Regi Castaneda and brother Anacleto Tamalia. She is survived by son Phidhel (Cynthia) Castaneda, daughter Juliet (Tim) Gillis, son Sandy (Tala'i) Castaneda, 10 grand- children and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Valley of the Temples Chapel. Services: 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 followed by burial.
