Miyoko (Horiuchi) Sakamoto, 97, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021 at the Oahu Care Facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was born in Captain Cook, Hawaii and lived most of her life in Honaunau, South Kona. Survived by husband, Tadao; son Ray (Janice) Sakamoto; daughters; Raelene (Reid) Manago; Iris (Lance) Kaneshiro; brother Ray N. Horiuchi; brother-in-law Harold Ishibashi; sisters-in-law Tomoyo Horiuchi, Hazel Horiuchi; 5 grand- children; 2 great-grandchildren. The family respectfully declines any flowers and monetary gifts (koden). Services will be private with limited attendance due to COVID-19 restrictions.
