Carole Anne Ishimaru, 75, of Hilo, passed away peacefully on Aug. 2. Born in Hilo, she was a retired teacher and administrator for the Hawaii Department of Education and member of the Church of the Holy Apostles. Private graveside services held. Family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sister, Bobbi (Dennis) Miyashiro; sister-in-law, Coreen Ishimaru; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements Provided By:
