71, of Honolulu Hawaii, passed way on August 25, 2021. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 14, 1949 to Beatrice (Kobayashi) and Robert Mizuno. Gary graduated from Kaimuki High and received a Bachelor of Accounting from University of Hawaii at Manoa. After working at HMSA for 42 years, he retired in 2016. His two biggest accomplishments were being a father to his three children and completing the Honolulu Marathon 11 times. He is survived by sister, Emily Endo, his children, Brooke Mizuno, Randal (Caitlyn) Mizuno, Robyn (Lloyd) Harano, and grandchildren, Phavie and Cara.
