Peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born on June 23, 1927 in Honolulu to Kam Hoy Kong and Helen Jay Kong. Edith loved gardening, playing cards and crafting. In the early 60's, she co-founded Noi'i Craft Club at Booth Park in Pauoa Valley with other homemakers who shared their passion for crafting. The group continued to meet for nearly five decades.
She is predeceased by her husband, Carl, and daughter, Sharon (Rodney) Flores. She is survived by her children, Richard Fischer, Kenneth (Brenda) Fischer, and Carrie (Earle) Kealoha; her ten grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Her family was her "pride and joy."
