Born Oct 14, 1933, passed away Aug 5, 2021 at home. Her children and grandchildren were with her all the way. She was 88. Elsie started her nursing career at Hilo Hospital, & when she moved to Honolulu, Kaiser Hospital would be her only employer for the rest of her career. She was one of the longest working employees at Kaiser. She loved being a nurse and she loved taking care of people, so much that she retired, went back to work and then retired again. After she finally left Kaiser she stayed home for a short while, got bored and then started doing homecare. She was so caring and compassionate in her work and loved by so so many. She will truly be missed! Survived by son, Daryl (predeceased Robyn); daughters, Earlynn Delizo & Lianne Nakaji-Benham (Chris); 5 grandchildren; Jessie, Nicole (Rob), Ian (Delaney), Landon (Thanh), Paige (David); 3 great grandchildren, Sophia, Skylan, Casetyn; sisters, Betty Matsuo, Shirley (Frank) Itai, and Doris (Dave) Gleason.
