84, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2021. Loving husband to wife Helen Jean Tappy for 64 years. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia. The second son to Rosetta Culver and William Tappy Sr.. Known to most of us as Tap or Pops, he worked as the Regional Manager, Sales/Service at Bell & Howell for over 30 years. Once retired he spent his days in his woodworking shop creating beautiful koa furniture pieces. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by brother, William Tappy Jr.; son, Robert (Liz) Tappy, Jr.; daughters, Dotty (Karl) Higa; and Charlotte Alabanza; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
