Sadako “Margie” Nakamura Toyama
Sadako "Margie" Nakamura Toyama, 92, of Hilo, died Feb. 8, 2020 on Maui. Born Oct. 13, 1927, in Hilo, she was a retired food service worker for the University of Hawaii at Hilo, former beautician/owner of the Orchid Beauty Shop, and homemaker. Private services held. Future inurnment to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Survived by husband, Shigeo Toyama; children, Carol Kagimoto, Daniel Toyama, Lynn Toyama; sisters, Itsue Yamasaki, Alice Char; sister-in-law, Sumie Nakamura; granddaughters, Jenna and Tara Kagimoto, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
