Derek Darryl Morita passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 67, in Waimea, Kauai. He was born on May 20, 1954 in Honolulu, Oahu. He was a Teacher & Businessman.Preceded in death by his son, Dustin Morita; father, Edward Morita and his brother Ronson Morita.
Derek is survived by his daughters: Hi'ilani Shizuko Morita (Geoff Badua) and U'ilani Reiko Morita both of Oahu; grandchildren: Kaeden Ramirez, Kaecen Ramirez & Zaeliah Nunes; mother: Shizuko Morita; sister Kelijene (Derek) Tengan of Oahu, and by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews & cousins
Services will be held at Garden Island Mortuary on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of his Life to follow.
