94, died at home on Sept. 6, 2021. Daughter of Helen (Dickert) and Raymond Hendrixson. Betty was born and raised in Cincinnati; a graduate of Western Hills High 1945 and Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing 1948. She married Stanley Gouveia of Hawaii in 1949 and had 5 daughters: Peggy, Jane, Melinda, Sally, Victoria. The moved to O'ahu in 1962 where she continued her nursing career; working primarily at Arcadia Retirement Residence. After 51 years in Hawaii she moved to Burlington, WA, to be near family. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Monahan, her 5 daughters, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed. The web of family love & cohesion she wove will stay with us forever.
