Ronald Don Silva
82, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, and an Army veteran, passed away peacefully in hospice care, on July 20, 2021. Born in Honolulu, he graduated from Red Bank High School, New Jersey, in 1957. After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked as a civilian shop supervisor, maintaining classified weapons systems at Schofield Barracks until retiring. He was predeceased by his parents (Vicente and Asuncion) and older brother, Vincent. He is survived by his sisters: Rita Suan, Erleen Ramirez, and Gloria Robb and numerous nieces and nephews. He is fondly remembered for his wry sense of humor and his generosity. Private services will be held at Mililani Memorial Park, Makai Chapel, on October 8, 2021, with interment to follow at 11:00 a.m. All COVID protocols apply. In lieu of flowers mourners are asked to donate, in Ronald's memory, to a charity of their choice.
