Surrounded by her family, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, and Great great grandmother, Adele Margret Correa Vasconcellos, passed peacefully and went home to Jesus on September 11, 2021. Adele was born on March 20, 1928, in Honolulu, Hawaii.Adele is survived by her children: Stephanie (Kenny) Flores, James (Roena) Vasconcellos, Jr., Janice McCaslin, Geralyn Kelly, Louise (Tom) Tuinei, Thomas Vasconcellos, and David Vasconcellos; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; sisters Sylvia Waiwaiole Hopfe, Genevieve Coelho, and numerous nieces and nephews. Adele is predeceased by her husband: James Allen Vasconcellos, sons Peter Anthony Vasconcellos and Joseph Charles Lum.
Catholic funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at St. John Vianney Church in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii.
Visitation: 9:45 to 10:20 a.m.; Eulogy: 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.;
Mass: 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Masks must be worn, and
attendees are asked to observe the "six feet apart" mandate.
