102, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2021 while under the compassionate care of Mildred Bumanglag, Queen's Geriatric Services and Bristol Hospice staff. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in the Kakaako area. She was the co-owner of Fuji Sportswear. After closing that business, she worked for and retired from another local garment manufacturer. She was predeceased by her husband of 77 years, Larry M. Fujimoto. She is survived by sons, Gary M. and Noel M. (Wendy); daughter, Sharyn K. (Dennis) Sekine; eight grand- children, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Private services are being arranged for a later date. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of koden (monetary gifts), donations may be made in her name to Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin, Hawaii Meals on Wheels, or Catholic Charities Hawaii (with note: Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center.)
