Melvin was born January 26, 1941, in Waimea, Kauai to Kekua Kuapahi Makua'ole and Eva K. Adolpho-Makua'ole (preceded in death). Melvin was the 15th of 16 children.
He enjoyed the Alu Like outings and gatherings. He was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed fellowshipping with the Waimanalo Ward. Most of all he loved spending time with his growing family.
He is survived by wife, Rosalie Kay Fischer-Makua'ole, and his beloved fur baby, Meleana "Mele".
He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Lahapa Luka-Makua'ole. He is survived by daughters, Elsie (Warren) Borengasser and Melveen (James) Glancy; sons, Melvin (Pam) Makua'ole Jr. and John (Brandi) Makua'ole; sister, Grace K Acain; and hanai children, Joseph (Donna) and Kimi Kealohanui. He has 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

the "Celebration of Life" at the LDS Church Waimanalo Ward
(41-972 Olu 'Olu Street) on Saturday, October 16th from
10:30am-1:00pm. Masks are strongly encouraged. Private Burial.
