Passed away at home on Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born on December 25, 1940, in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Tomoyoshi and Haruko Zukeran. She was preceded in death by her late brothers, Wilfred, Richard, and Herbert Zukeran. She is survived by her sisters, Grace (Stanley) Oshiro, Ruby (Clyde) Keller, brothers, Roy, Gary (JoAnn), and Stanley (Jennifer) Zukeran-Kerr, and 16 nephews and nieces.Carol retired January 26, 2017 as a Communications Supervisor after 47 years with the Honolulu Police Department. She was hired as one of the very first civilian dispatchers. She was honored and recognized by Hawaii News Now, as one of the longest serving employees of HPD.
Her memory will always be carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Her ashes will be inurned at the Nuuanu Memorial Park. Due to the restrictive pandemic situation, services are on hold.
