Norman Earle Cruz
84, of Honolulu passed away peacefully October 6, 2021, with his wife by his side. Norman was born on April 11, 1937 on the beautiful Island of Guam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lomeala Cruz and son Norman Cruz Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Marie Cruz; his sisters, Helen, Mary, Leontine (Clifford), and Genevieve (Thomas), his daughter, Patrica (Mark); and sons Robert (Margaret), Michael (Lynne), and Jon Brian. Along with his grandchildren, Jessica, Olivia, Krystal (Kevin), Jon Brian (Bernadine), and Rachel. And great granddaughter Natalie. familian Hanai: Jonathan (Mydee), Nelson, Alex, Edward and Heidi, Jamie and Resse. Hanai grandchildren: Nick, Aiden, Izzy, Ama, and Thea, who all brought great joy to his life. Norman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and great friend to many. He was a lifelong Manoa resident and will be missed by his family and community. Norman served in the U.S. Army as a military supply officer during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, Norman was a defense commissary agency store director for 20 years. Norman will never be forgotten for his strength and kind heart. He loved hunting, golfing, fishing, yard work and spending as much time with his family and friends as possible. A rosary will be held starting Thursday October 7th - Saturday October 16th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm, held at family residence.
A memorial service will be held on October 19th at 9:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Manoa. A burial service will be held at The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at later date. Thoughts and prayers are welcomed on the online memorial website. ballardfamilymoanaluamortuary.com
