Carol S. Miyamoto
Carol S. MiyamotoBorn in Hilo on August 22, 1929, Carol passed away at home on October 11, 2021. She retired as a social worker for the State of Hawaii. Carol was an active member of Kilohana United Methodist Church. She served on various church committees and shared her love of cooking with many of the church members, family and friends. She was the founder of Kilohana Adult Respite Program for Alzheimer patients and their families. Carol will be remembered for her smile and her quirky sense of humor. Her favorite words of wisdom - "Be the best you can be and smile until your face cracks!". She was preceded in death by husbands, Hiromu Tagomori and Noboru Miyamoto and son, David Tagomori. She is survived by daughter, Gwynne Kaneko; granddaughters, Allyson (Melcar) Condes and Traci Kaneko. Due to covid restrictions, a private graveside service will be held.
