83, of Kailua, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on December 1, 2021. He was born on June 27, 1938 in Honolulu. He attended Kailua Intermediate and was the first class to graduate from Kailua High School in 1957. Gregory retired from the Carpenters Union in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, LindaLokelani Sanchez: son Brian (Renee Kaneao) Sanchez, daughter, Tina (Brad) Patterson. Grandchildren: Kiana (Keola Preston) Sanchez, Travis (Brittni Rapoza), Troy (Katy) and Tyson Patterson. Great- Grandchildren: Tytan and Tayden Preston and Haze Patterson. Sister-in-law, Marilyn Sanchez and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph Ruiz Sanchez and Emilia Cidade and siblings Joseph Sanchez, Sylvia (Isaac) Kaawa, Emily Conchita Miranda, and Howard Sanchez. Services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 10am-1pm at Valley of the Temples Mortuary-Main Chapel Burial to follow at 1 pm. Due to COVID-19 masks must be worn throughout the services.
