
She is missed by her husband Dean Shimabukuro; sons Ryan (Pua), and Brent (Ihilani Haru); sisters: Pat Sterling (Fred), Susana Bowman and Lorna Afaga, as well as her extended family. A major bright spot in her life are her two grandchildren, Kimi and Kaizen Shimabukuro.
Juliet loved family gatherings and celebrations and played a big part in raising all of her nephews and nieces. She expressed her passions and creativity in many ways including her work as a dental hygienist, Filipiniana Dance Company Assistant Director, baking, gardening, and painting. Juliet will always be remembered for her smile, generosity, her inner kindness, humility and her lovely Aloha spirit.
A funeral mass will be held on January 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection of the Lord Church in Waipio. Family requests no flowers and aloha attire. Masks and social distancing are required.
