ARTHUR MIN HIN CHING, “BUNNY”
ARTHUR MIN HIN CHING, Passed away peacefully on November 26, 2021 at the age of 93. Born on January 10, 1928, to Shui Lin Ching and Alice Fook Wah Ling. Grew up in the University of Hawaii Farm area before moving to Dole Street. Graduated from McKinley High School, served in the U.S. Army and is a WWII veteran. He learned the trade to become an instrument (gyroscope) mechanic at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard where he worked for over 40 years. He later worked for Dillingham Shipyard before finally retiring to enjoy his golden years.

Preceded in death by wife, Wanda Kam Hee Wong who he had been married to for over 70 years. He is survived by sons Glenn (Dale Chock), Gary (Celeste Chang), Wesley (Lei Inouye), sister Lorraine Chang, seven grand- children and one great grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:15pm (Service at 11:00am) at Diamond Head Mortuary (DHM) Chapel. Burial 12:30pm at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Since COVID protocol must be followed we ask family members and friends to please bring your Covid vaccination card or negative Covid test 48hrs and please wear a mask. Food and beverages cannot be served per DHM. Casual attire.
