Emma Botelho Nailiulaokalani Villa
Emma Botelho Nailiulaokalani Villa Emma Villa, 87, passed away on December 4, 2021. Born in Honolulu, Emma raised eight children then started her career in the Hawaii State Government at the Waianae Coast Human Services and retired as the office manager.
A longtime Ma`ili resident, she moved back to Honolulu where she spent much of her childhood. A Maryknoll High School alumna, she spent her lifetime supporting her children and grandchildren in sporting, cultural, academic, and co-curricular events.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Villa. Surviving children include Daughters: Tina (Jim) Giubilato, Lisa (Kimo) Perkins, and Cherie (Allan) Villa-Perreira; Sons: Bill (Renae), Steven, Joseph (Andri), Michael (Danielle Snead) and Gordon (Valeen). Predeceased by her mother Emma Woodward Botelho, Father Joseph Botelho and sister Julie (Bill) Antoque. Surviving Sisters; Charlotte (David) Nagai, Angie (David) Soares, Patricia (Charles) Hall. Surviving Brothers; Herbert (Mary Lou) Botelho, Harold Botelho, Gordon (Susan Jay) Botelho. Emma left a legacy of 28 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Her love and influence touched our lives and shall be carried on for generations to come.
