Gloria was born on Maui to Harry and Bessie Nishida. Graduated from Roosevelt High School in Honolulu and Mills College in California. San Francisco was home with husband Tony Ding Chi Wu (deceased) and daughter Nina. Retired from teaching, she returned to family and friends in Honolulu where she participated in community and religious organizations and enjoyed many interests. She died peacefully at age 83, after several months of illness. She is survived by daughter Nina Wu-Grossman (Lee) and grandson Aaron Grossman in Virginia, sister Carole Seymour (John) in Seattle, Wa., brother Ralph Nishida in Honolulu, plus relatives in Hawaii and the mainland. Private service honored her full and interesting life, with God's blessings. Arrangements Provided By:
