Age 78, of Waipahu, HI, passed away Nov. 20, 2021. She was born December 24, 1942 in Honolulu, HI. She retired from the Department of Defense, Civilian Personnel Office, and enjoyed playing golf. She is predeceased by husband, Earl Kanayama. Survived by son, Scott (Lisa) Kanayama; daughter, Lynne (Milton Jr.); brother Darius Chung; sisters Bertha Maunupau, Euphemia "Foony" Nagashima, June "Nani" Kudzia; grandsons, Scott Kanayama Jr., Lee Kanayama, Milton Gainey III; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Inurnment January 24, 2022 at 10:30am at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
