At 81 years of age, he was a lifelong farmer, assuming his Dad's hog farm business along with brother Wayne.
Bobby lived a full and engaging life. His generous nature, jovial personality and quick wit endeared him to so many. A simple man, he cherished time spent with family and friends.
Bobby's love for travel and seeing the world was equaled by his enjoyment of a quick trip to Las Vegas. Prior to pandemic restrictions, the Four Queens Hotel and Casino was his home away from home.
Bobby now joins his parents, Kenneth Isami and Phyllis Kiyoko Shimokawa. He leaves his sons Ricky and Robby (Nahono); Siblings: Vicki Tsuhako, Sidney (Roxanne), Karen Kobayashi, Audrey (Kerry) Yoneshige and Wayne (Lorraine); four grand- children and devoted friend and companion, Allyson Kam.
In keeping with Bobby's wishes, there will be only a private memorial service for the immediate family. He also requested that no koden (monetary gifts) be offered or accepted.
