Tomoe Shishido passed away peacefully on December 21, 2021, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tomoe was born on May 21, 1926, in North Kona, Hawaii. Tomoe grew up in North Kona, attending school and helping on the family coffee farm. After graduating from school she moved to Honolulu and found work as a housekeeper. Tomoe was married to Seigi "Butch" Shishido, and they lived a wonderful life together, traveling to Europe and the mainland USA. They also regularly traveled to Kona to visit relatives and to go fishing. Tomoe was extremely interested in business and enjoyed following the stock market regularly. She was also an avid bus rider (she did not drive) and used her TheBus pass daily. Tomoe could always be found walking around the Ala Moana Center Mall and Magic Island. She always said that walking kept her "healthy and strong," and was the reason she lived such a long life. Tomoe is survived by her nieces and nephews. Arrangements Provided By:
