FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

RICHARD MORENO FELIMER, SR.
RICHARD MORENO FELIMER, SR.82, of Pearl City, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2021 at Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre in Kaneohe. Born in Makaweli, Kauai, Richard moved to Oahu at a young age, growing up in Aiea, then Waipahu. After graduating from Waipahu High School, he joined the U.S. Navy for one tour, then became a Seabee in the Navy Reserve. After 44 years of service, he retired as a Pipefitter Foreman of Shop 56 at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Richard was also extremely involved and a very dedicated member and officer of several Masonic organizations as Past Worshipful Master of Pearl Harbor Lodge, Past Potentate of Aloha Temple Shriners and Past Master of Command for the Legion of Honor, member of the Honolulu Scottish Rite, Eastern Star Harmony Chapter, the Knights of Pythias, and a few other prominent Clubs. He was an out-spoken person, a great leader, and always willing to step up where there was a need. He will be dearly missed, but forever in our hearts as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Richard was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Penelope Kalani, and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Florence Leilani; daughter, Jacqueline (Randall) Burnett; son, Richard, Jr.; sisters Elaine (John) Jackson, Linda (Joseph) Litton, Lori (Chris) Lafrenz , Arlene (Chris) Jansen, Natalie (Terry) Fowler; brother, Eugene; grand-children Patrick Nobriga II; Jaxon Nobriga; Leilani Kesting; Kamalei Levy; Ryanne "Cookie" Burnett; hanai grandchildren Aysia (Justin) Souza; Randall Burnett, Jr.; and great-grandchildren Oshen Nobriga and Carsyn Souza. Memorial Services at Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary Chapel on Monday, January 24, 2022. Visitation 5pm-6:30pm, Mass 6:30pm-7:30pm, Final Visitation 7:30pm-9pm. Burial at Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery Committal Shelter in Kaneohe on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Flag Ceremony and Final Prayers at 11am.
